Brunt Hails Hodgson's Influence
Chris Brunt has said that Roy Hodgson was a big influence in him agreeing to extend his contract.
Speaking to wba.co.uk after putting pen to paper on a new 3 year deal, Brunt said that he believes Hodgson will continue to help improve him as a player.
'I was pleased with how I played last season and obviously the club were as well. Hopefully we can pick up where we left off last season. I'm looking forward to working with the head coach again, I've learnt a lot about my game and I've really enjoyed working under him. He was a big influence in me signing my extention.'
In real terms the contract is only a years extension, but it's good to see Brunt being prepared to extend like Mulumbu and hopefully Odemwingie.
