Roy Happy With City Display
Roy Hodgson said he was happy with the performance and the ways the Baggies shaped up against Bristol City, even though it took until the 88 minute before we broke them down.
Speaking to wba.co.uk Hodgson said he believed the fans saw a good game of football and he was pleased to see Ben Foster slot in so well.
'It was a good game of football, it was strange that it ended with only one goal because there were a number of chances, so it was unusual that the game finished 1-0.'
The only concern was the substitution of Somen Tchyoi but Hodgson said that was purely a precautionary measure.
'There was no serious problem, it's a hot day, we decided not to take any chances with anyone who signalled to us they had a tightening of a muscle.'
