'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Bitterly Disappointed With Rochdale Loss

Michael Appleton has admitted that he didn't mix his words at half and full time in our game against Rochdale.

Despite it mainly being a youthful side, going down 3-0 is a bit of a kick in the 'you know whats' and our assistant head coach made that more than clear to the players.

Speaking to wba.co.uk Appleton said.

'I am bitterly disappoint, I pretty much said what I had to say at half time and in no uncertain terms at the end. I didn't think we were great in possession, I can't remember their keeper having a shot to save. We didn't work hard enough to press, but even when we won the ball back, we pretty much gave it back straight away.'

Appleton finished off by saying.

'I told the young lads, if they want to get anywhere near a Premier League side they've got a hell of a long way to go. A few of them have had a bit of a harsh lesson.'
