Scharner Expects Tougher Season

Scharner Expects Tougher Season

Paul Scharner has said that the Baggies will have a harder time this season than last year, as the pressure will be on to repeat our league finish.

Speaking to the E&S the 31 year old midfielder said that the second season was always more difficult in his experience, and that we would have a harder time repeating our end of season form and making it last throughout the whole campaign.

'The second season is always the difficult one because you have to show it again. I am one of the experienced players and I hope I can bring that to the team, it will be a hard, tough job and hopefully we can continue playing as we did last time.'

There will be hiccups along the way, and we can't expect to always play as we did under Hodgson's spell last season but it's something to aim for and work towards, we just can't let our heads drop when it doesn't happen for us on a given match day.
