Reid Relishing Campaign Start

Reid Relishing Campaign Start

Steven Reid was delighted to see the fixtures released today, and is relishing our difficult double header against Man United and Chelsea.

As we already know we face United on the opening day and then a week later we travel to Stamford Bridge, but Reid thinks we should show no fear after some of our results last season, and believes it'll be good to get the Champions and the Runners Up out of the way early.

Speaking to wba.co.uk Reid said.

'It's going to be a difficult start, but we showed last season we're capable of getting results against the top teams, so we have nothing to fear.'

Reid adds that both games will hold special interest for the Baggies but for different reasons.

'We deserved something out of the home game against United and that 6-0 defeat brings back pretty bad memories. We'll be looking to put that right and get off to a good start in both of those games.'

Definitely going to be an interesting start to the campaign and we should be able to see the additional work achieved during pre season.
