Dean Kiely Hangs Up His Gloves

Dean Kiely Hangs Up His Gloves

The Baggies have confirmed that although Dean Kiely will be hanging up his gloves for the new season, he will remain at the club to continue his coaching duties.

Kiely made 72 appearances for the Baggies during his four years at the club, but only made the match day squad once in Roy's opening game against Wolves last season.

It's being suggested that should the need arise however, the 40 year old is not against re-registering should the club need him to next season.

I remember Kiely starting off at Bury many moons ago and almost single handedly winning them promotion, always been a class keeper

Blimey I don't think I'm that old Worbo lol Never seen as spectacular although I remember a few moments, but very steady and a far better goalie than most give him credit for. Pleased to see him move into coaching when he did, as there's many a youngster who could learn from him.
