2011/2012 Kicks Off With A Visit By Man United

2011/2012 Kicks Off With A Visit By Man United

Fixture day is here already, seems such a short summer doesn't it...thankfully!

As usual, thanks to the authorities, despite knowing when the fixtures actually take place being considered useful, we can`t show them.

Yup, we can`t publish the adverts for the games we pay good money to go and see unless we hand over an obscene amount of money for the privilege first.

One of thesedays the Justice system in this country might address the precendent set against William Hill in Europe on the very same issue Dataco hide behind, but oh well for now.

The season kicks off on August 13th when we host Champions Manchester United before traveling away to Chelsea in the very next fixture.

Interesting and tough start to Roy's first full season in charge!

We don't quite get to play Birmingham this season for some reason, not sure what happened to the Carling Cup winners but not my concern.

We host Wolves in the first derby of the season on October 15, then if you notice a pattern, our next fixture is then away against the Villa.

Couple of interesting pairings really.
