'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Tchoyi Story Could Lead To Striker Role

Somen Tchoyi's final day heroics against Newcastle could see him shifted upfront next season as Roy Hodgson looks to bolster our attack.

Speaking to wba.co.uk Michael Appleton admitted that Tchoyi's eye for goal in the game against Newcastle has given them some food for thought over the summer, especially as he's played that role for Cameroon on occasions.

'He has looked a threat when we have seen him do that on international duty so we might have found a tool we can use for next season. Newcastle was incredible and it was great for him.'
