'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Experience Will See Us Right Says Legend Regis

Hawthorns Hero Cyrille Regis believes that Albion's job next season has been made easier by the promotion of three clubs without top flight experience.

Speaking to the Birmingham Post Regis said that the Baggies should be boosted by the lack of experience that QPR, Norwich and Swansea will have, and without wishing to be disrespectful, if we get the promoted clubs early on in the fixture list we should be looking to take advantage of them adjusting to the league and be targeting maximum points.

'Albion have struck lucky in a way, with all due respect there is little Premier League experience within their squads. The demands, the challenges will all be different and tougher, West Brom have players who know what to expect and that's good for us.'

It's a very valid point, but we shouldn't expect any of them to be easy pickings. Especially as we'll have our own 'second season' curse to deal with, but as Regis also says, having Roy Hodgson in charge should see us grow and deal with anything the league may throw at us next term.

I'm really looking forward to seeing what he can do with us over the course of a full season to be honest.
