Kawashima Contact Confirmed?

Kawashima Contact Confirmed?

Reports from a number of media outlets today are carrying quotes from Japan international Eiji Kawashima who appears to confirm contact with Albion.

It seems the quotes have surfaced via the Daily Mail, and given they type.

'Talks are still going on with (West Brom) and we are waiting for people to start moving.'

I tend to think, unlike everybody I've seen repeat that quote without the brackets, that it's lazy journalism again and at no point did Kawashima name the club directly.

That would sit better with the E&S's claim today that weekend reports about the player were wide of the mark.

Although saying that I could be completely wide of the mark as the report I'm looking at right this second says he'd be an interesting signing for our Wearside club! I'm just not sure of anything anymore.
