Jones To Push On After Preston Disappointment

New signing Billy Jones believes he had his best season ever last term, despite seeing Preston relegated from the Championship and now that he has his dream Premiership move to the Albion he belives we will bring out even more from him.

Speaking to wba.co.uk it's clear that Jones is absolutely thrilled to be able to have the chance of playing in the top flight next season, and he's certainly determined to make the most of it.

'I feel I've improved year on year at Preston and I'm glad the gaffer has seen that, I hope I can keep improving as a player at West Brom. It's a fresh challenge, I'm still young and I'm really looking forward to cracking the Premier eague.'

Speaking about last season, Jones was torn as he believes it was his best year at Preston, but that was overshadowed by them losing their Championship status for the first time in 13 seasons.

'I feel personally it has been one of my best season, that sounds crazy because we got relegated.'
