Tchoyi Fires Himself Into Hodgson's Plans
Following his hattrick heroics in todays fightback against Newcastle, it looks like Somen Tchoyi has forced Roy Hodgson into a rethink about him.
Speaking to Sky Sports after what was a rather dramatic way to end the season, Hodgson said he now thinks that Tchoyi could prove invaluable in our next campaign.
'It's taken me a while to get to know him, but obviously he's going to be a very important figure for us next year. I have started to realise that he's got a special talent, he certainly brought it out today and got us a very valuable point.'
He's certainly proved invaluable in todays game and whilst a draw wasn't the perfect ending to our season and we haven't finished as the Midlands' top dogs, survival was the name of the game and that has been handsomely achieved. The match will certainly live in the memory as a humdinger from us, and was at least more entertaining than a bore draw.
