Hurst Happy To Be Back At The Baggies

Hurst Happy To Be Back At The Baggies

James Hurst scooped our Young Player of the Season Award and could be in line for another appearance against Newcastle on Sunday, but it could've all been so different.

Speaking to wba.co.uk James explained how the grass isn't always greener as he made the mistake of leaving us to join Portsmouth back in 2008, before returning on a free transfer last summer.

'I'm really happy with the award, I didn't expect it. This was always the place for me because of the way West Brom play. I was happy to come back and I don't want to rest on my laurels, I want to push on and get in that squad full time.'

With a few appearances to his name already, he'll definitely be hoping the gaffer sticks him in for Newcastle so he can continue making a name for himself.
