Hair Raising Encounter Against Everton

Youssouf Mulumbu has admitted his surprise at seeing Paul Scharner's blue and white striped hair against Everton, but he's pleased he's won the midfield goal battle.

Speaking to wba.co.uk Mulumbu admitted Scharner's moment of male grooming madness brought a smile to everybody's face, but he was more chuffed that it was his goal that secured the win and put him 3 ahead of his midfield partner in the scoring sheets.

'We were surprised to see Paul's hair, it's typical Paul Scharner, it was even a little bit scary. As for our goals competition, it's done now - it's over!'

Mulumbu adds praise for Odemwingie for the set up and admits he certainly didn't expect to score today, but he'll take goals as and when he can.

Second top scorer for the season, not a bad return for a midfielder is it :-)
