Roy's Response: Delighted

Roy's Response: Delighted

Need he say anything more? Delighted, a clean sheet, another 3 points...what a great weekend.

Speaking to wba.co.uk after the 1-0 victory over Everton, Hodgson was delighted to end our 'home season' campaign with a good win for the fans and an elusive cleansheet that should give us bags of confidence as we begin preparations for next season.

And in a further twist, it looks highly likely that Roy will get his wish to see the Baggies finish as the Top Midlands club this season aswell as we find ourselves in 10th place.

'I thought the game meant a lot to both team, I don't think either could be accused of not taking the game seriously. It was satisfying to get a clean sheet.'

A final word for the fans, Hodgson adds.

'I'm very pleased as it's another victory in front of our own crowd. They have been magnificient all season, almost all of them stayed right to the end to wave us goodbye for the season.'

Job done this time round, and it looks like we are ending it on a high. The mouth almost waters at the prospect of what might be next campaign.

Well done again Roy and the boys!
