Brunt & Reid Come Through Training

Steven Reid and Chris Brunt have survived full training today and Roy Hodgson is very optimistic they will be available at the weekend.

Speaking to wba.co.uk after training finished tonight, Hodgson said both players had come through training without any complications, so both should be in contention for the weekend.

'It's nice to see Brunt and Reid come through training today, we'll have a strong group of players to choose from which is unusually at this late stage of the season.'

In other news, Paul Scharner will likely return to the team after his suspension for his red card against Villa, and even better news, it's been suggested that Graham Dorrans could return to training next week after being out for 2 months with an ankle injury.

Hodgson has already ruled out a return to the pitch this season for Dorrans, so he won't be involved in our final game against Newcastle but having him back in training is a good boost ahead of next season.

'There is some talk today that he might be able to join in training next week, which would be very good.'
