Reid Recovery Boost Ahead Of Everton

Reid Recovery Boost Ahead Of Everton

Steven Reid has returned to training following a calf injury sustained against Spurs, and should be in contention for the weekends game against Everton.

Speaking to wba.co.uk Reid explained that he would be returning to full training today after increasing his sessions over the past week.

'I had a tough session with Brunty and I'm looking to be involved on Saturday.'

Speaking more generally about our current league position, Reid explained he desperately wanted to be involved in our final games because he wants to see us finish as high as we possibly can.

Finishing as high as we can seems the buzz phrase at The Hawthorns lately, but what a marked change from only a few months ago!

'I just want to play these last two games, the job we set out to do has been done, we're safe, it's been an unbelieveable season and I'm just delighted we are out of that bottom three. It's more than possible now we could finish in the top ten, to do that and be top of the Midlands teams would be a great achievement.'

It would certainly be a turn up for the books to finish top of the Midlands pile and give us some serious bragging rights over the locals - I'm quite looking forward to it actually!
