Skipper Praises Defence
Chris Brunt has thanked our centre halves for giving us a foundation to build on against Spurs.
'They were superb again, Jonas and Abou have been excellent since the gaffer has taken over. Abou looks like a £20million centre half - they dealt with 98% of the ball that came into our box and credit to them because it gave us a foundation to go and get something from the game.'
Following Odemwingie's opener it could've all been different, but you have to give credit for not letting their heads drop and battling until the final whistle. When Spurs second went in after Chelsea it would've been easy to think it was going to be another of those days, but fair play they never gave up and we got a good point.
