Brunt Full Of Praise For Odemwingie Effort

Chris Brunt was full of praise for Peter Odemwingie's performance against Liverpool as he was instrumental in the win.

Speaking to wba.co.uk Brunt said that Odemwingie's performance more than warranted a goal of his own to cap the day off, but whilst sadly that wasn't to be, Peter wasn't too upset over it.

'Peter was absolutely brilliant and deserved a goal, when he was going in for the second penalty, I was screaming at him to shoot - but that's Peter. He's a laid back lad and doesn't panic, he was fantastic all day and caused them all sorts of problems.'

Brunt adds that when Odemwingie is on fire he is a huge asset for the club, and thankfully over the past few weeks Peter has been at his best and even when he's not supplying a goal threat, his running and workrate opens plenty of gaps for others to capitalise on.
