Baggies Fixture Changes

Baggies Fixture Changes

The Wolves and Everton fixtures have been moved owing to TV coverage and fantastic pre planning that saw all fixtures clash with the FA Cup Final.

Our away derby at Wolves on Sunday May 8, has seen its kick off time brought forward an hour because Sky Sports have decided to screen it live.

Our final home match of the season against Everton on Saturday May 14, has also been brought forward and will now kick off at 12.45pm because some plums thought it would be a good idea to clash the Saturday fixtures with the FA Cup Final and then panicked presumably.

Ever doubted the game was about money these days?

Why the hell do club fixtures need to be moved to suit a TV audience when the vast majority wouldn't be watching the Final anyway.

Are they that desperate for the advertisers pennies?

Oh it's better, the Final was moved originally because of the Chumpions League Final - there was me thinking it was the fans' game, not the corporate and crony day outers.
