Baggies Beat Leicester In Friendly

A Simon Cox goal gave Albion a 1-0 victory over Leicester City in a behind closed doors game at the Walkers Stadium.The game was designed to give those not on international duty a more competitive training game and also give to those who hadn't played for a while, a chance to impress.

CITY (4-5-1): Weale; Marrone, Lamey (Hicks 80), Tunchev (Milnes 80), Berner (Bolger 67); Waghorn, Teixeira, Oakley (Vassell HT), Gallagher (Wellens HT), Dyer; Yakuba (Howard HT). Subs not used: Ricardo (gk).

ALBION (4-4-2): Carson; Zuiverloon, Ibanez, Downing, Hurst; Barnes, Thorne, Mantom (Gayle 41), Brown (Nabi 74); Cox (D Daniels 79), Fortuné (Sawyers 66). Subs not used: L Daniels (gk).
