Miller In Hodgson's Plans

Roy Hodgson has said he is keeping close tabs on Ishmael Miller, but at the moment he has no plans to recall him from QPR.

Speaking to wba.co.uk Hodgson said that there was little point in bringing the player back given we may not even have the Arsenal game this month, and it's far better he continues to get match day experience at this moment in time.

'I'm interested in Miller and we're following him closely, but rather than bring him back here for a month's training, Neil Warnock's using him at QPR. He's playing on a regular basis and I'm happy for him to stay there.'

Hodgson does say that the Baggies reserve the right to recall him if we need and it's possible we may do just that as we enter April and the next batch of games.

'But we reserve the right to perhaps bring him back for the run-in, in April and May.'

As long as he's playing regularly and keeping his confidence up, it makes perfect sense to leave him out on loan. At least Hodgson is looking at his options and he's clearly not ruling anybody out as he looks towards our Premiership survival and next season.
