Blues Game Takes On Extra Significance

Blues Game Takes On Extra Significance

Roy Hodgson has said the Blues game is even more important for the Baggies owing to the fact that our only other scheduled clash this month against Arsenal could be rearranged.

As has already been announced, should Arsenal and Man U draw in the FA Cup quarters the replay would take place on the weekend we are scheduled to face Arsenal, and it could mean we don't play again until April 2nd.

Speaking to the Express & Star Hodgson said this month could be very strange with the lack of games, and whilst it's the ideal time to drill players further on the training pitch he has to make sure players keep their focus.

'March could turn into a very strange month with no games, and at the moment I see that as something of an advantage as it gives me more chance to work with the players.'

The disadvantage comes from losing players to the international break, but he's heartened that March in his opinion won't be decisive for any club at the bottom - but of course going into the potential fixture break following a win would be far better.
