Jonas Olsson is eager to put the Stoke Kodak moment behind him, by focusing on putting in a man of the match performance against Blues.
Speaking on wba.co.uk Olsson said he hoped fans wouldn't judge him for the momentary lapse that led him to accidentally break a picture, insisting he will make up for it on the pitch tomorrow.
Explaining the tunnel incident he admitted he was irritated given he really wanted Albion to walk away with 3 points, and there were words exchanged as Stoke players were also annoyed to not win, especially given Vela has been shown to have been offside for his equiliser.
'It was two disappointed teams that walked off, there was a bit of a disagreement in the tunnel, just talking, and I hit the wall and hit the glass frame and it broke. It was a very unnecessary and stupid thing to do, but my intention was not to break it. I apologised right after.'
Olsson also confirmed again that he will pay for the damage caused and he know he will receive a fine from the club over it, but his greatest disappointment is the event overshadowed the game and the performance.
Moving onto our next match Olsson says whoever wins the derby tomorrow will have a big advantage in the race for survival, and not only will it be a hotly contested affair as a derby, it is also a clear 6 pointer.
'It's important you don't lose these 6 pointers, if you can win you have a great advantage.'
Whilst admitting he would dearly love to beat both Blues and Arsenal, if he had to choose between them both he admits he would have to choose Blues because of how the table sits and what it means to Baggies fans.
'I would choose Birmingham because it's important to win against the teams around us. It's a derby aswell, so you always want to win those as it has extra prestige.'
He adds he is also looking forward to the physical aspects of the game and facing off against Zigic, but he would certainly like to bag the winning goal if the chance comes his way after he scored our final goal in the home clash earlier in the season.
