Hodgson Calls For Same Against Blues

Hodgson Calls For Same Against Blues

Roy Hodgson has called on the Baggies to show the same level of discipline, commitment and determination when we take to the field against Blues.

The new manager has been absolutely delighted with the teams' showing against Wolves and Stoke, and now he's looking for further improvement this weekend.

Speaking to wba.co.uk Hodgson knows that this will be another tough game, especially as the Blues will be on a high after Arsenal truly shot themselves in the foot in defence, but he's confident that we can get a result if we are mentally right entering the game.

'Every point is vital for us, we know we'll be meeting a team that's got its tail up but we've been very good from the point of view of spirit.'

Hodgson has already said he took plenty of heart from the Wolves showing but he believes the Stoke match was an even greater improvement in our overall performance, and very few associated with the Baggies weren't disappointed to not see us take all 3 points given the chances we created in the game, and he's hoping we can replicate that level of performance this weekend and ensure we walk out having taken all 3 points this time round.

The gaffer also confirms that there are no injury worries ahead of the game, as those with knocks from Monday have resumed training.
