Scharner Sets Sights On 3 Wins

Scharner Sets Sights On 3 Wins

Paul Scharner has targeted 3 wins out of our remaining matches to ensure Premiership survival.

Speaking to the Express & Star the utility man believes a return of 3 wins would be enough to ensure our survival this season and he doesn't believe that 3 victories is beyond the club.

'It's a tough run in, we need another 3 or 4 wins to survive and that will be our focus. If we can build and go one better than Monday there are definite possibilities.'

Scharner knows a draw against Stoke was certainly not a bad result at all, but he was left disappointed as he, like everyone else really, knows we had enough chances in the game to take all 3 points and turn them over.

'Monday was a good point but at the end we were a bit disappointed, we had an excellent chance to take all 3 points.'

As for the gaffers inovlement, he added.

'I think we are developing, we've now had two weeks training under Roy and you could see on Monday that it's working more and more. I am very confident we can start winning again over the next few games.'
