Thomas Delighted With Mexican Youngster
Jerome Thomas has nicknamed on loan Carlos Vela the 'ice-man' after on the trot last gasp levelers against Wolves and Stoke.
The former Arsenal trainee has admitted that those chances couldn't have fallen to a better player, such is Vela's composure and eye for goal and what better way to celebrate your 22nd Birthday than by grabbing a goal.
Speaking to wba.co.uk about the importance of the goal, Thomas said:
'We don't know how important Monday's goal is going to be but it's got us out of the relegation zone, so it could be vital.'
As for his praise of Vela, he added:
'There is no doubt he has quality, you can tell how cool, calm and collected he is. He has great potential.'
