Baggies Start and End With Champions

The 2010/11 Premiership fixtures have been announced today.

The Baggies kick off the new campaign at reigning title holders Chelsea on 14th August 2010.

Boss Roberto Di Matteo must be happy with the clubs run in at the end of the campaign ending with last years Championship winners Newcastle United away on 22nd May 2011.

On the Baggies tough start to life back in the Premier League Roberto Di Matteo told the clubs official website;

"It`s certainly a challenging start. But the chance to play at grounds like Stamford Bridge, Anfield, the Emirates and Old Trafford is exactly what we battled for so hard last season.

We`ll certainly need to hit the ground running as opening fixtures don`t come much tougher than Chelsea away and we will be fully focussed on getting a result for Albion".

December the 18th is also a date to put in your diary. Wolves travel to The Hawthorns for the first ever derby between the two clubs in the Premier League.
