Baggies sign Reid

Baggies sign Reid

Steven Reid, 29, has signed a 2 year contract at the Hawthorns and will officially become a Baggies player on 1st July.

Reid joined the Baggies on loan for the final two months of last season and has opted to join other summer signing Gabrial Tamas in making his loan move permanent.

Reid will offer vital Premier League experience having previously made 113 appearances in England`s top tier.

Head coach Roberto Di Matteo told the clubs official site:

'We're delighted Reidy has agreed to rejoin us on a permanent basis having made such a big impact last season, both on and off the field. Having spent the last six years or so in the Premier League, he knows the division inside and out and that kind of experience could prove invaluable.'

Good luck Reidy and welcome to the Albion!
