Albion play to their strengths

There will be no fielding of a weakened side today against Middlesbrough.

Roberto Di Matteo insists his promoted team have a responsibility to those still fighting for a play-off place or battling against relegation in their final three games.

Middlesbrough currently sit in 8th place and arrive at The Hawthorns today for a tea-time kick-off (5.15pm). They are only four points away from a play-off spot after their current eight-match unbeaten run.

Di Matteo has stressed his team will continue to give their all until the end of the season: 'We won't just play the youth team,' he said.

'We will play the strongest team possible and try our best to win the next game.

'Two out of the three are home games and we want to do well in front of our fans to finish in a positive manner.

'As a player I used to win these type of games!'

He also hinted that some of the players will be 'playing for next year as well,' which suggests that there will be a trimming of the squad before new players are brought in.
