'If It's Football, It's Vital'

End of season party

Albion have confirmed, on the official site, that the promotion celebrations will take place at home to Barnsley on Sunday May 2.

Players and staff will be presented with Football League medals after the game and will then take a lap of honour around The Hawthorns.

Sandwell council had originally offered the club a formal civic reception ceremony, but West Brom have decided to turn down the opportunity.

An official statement reads: 'The Baggies have politely turned down Sandwell council's generous offer of a civic reception due to the fact that, with the club's return to the Premier League confirmed with three games still to play, there will be ample opportunity for the fans to celebrate with the team.'

There will be an open training session at The Hawthorns on Friday where fans can watch the team train before obtaining autographs.
