Celebrations on hold... for now

Celebrations on hold... for now

We will be back in the Premier League if we can beat Doncaster Rovers on Saturday, regardless of the Nottingham Forest result.

This has meant a little bit of calming of players' nerves from Roberto Di Matteo. We all saw the jubilant displays at Newcastle and I'm sure every single player has had that little movie running through their head.

"We just stay focused on our job," he said. "I know there is a lot of excitement about us but we just need to stay focused on what we have to do.

"We`ve put ourselves in a strong position but we`re not there yet.'

A draw would be enough for us if Forest fail to beat Ipswich. Things were put on hold after a 1-1 draw against a wrestling Watford side.

Di Matteo was pleased that we kept working hard despite going a goal behind; the equaliser came in the fifth minute of injury time through Chris Brunt.

"We have to work and fight hard to get the points we need. We've got four games left and we need at least two more points.

"Every game is going to be hard and we know that. We just have to stay focused and not listen too much to what is going on around us."
