'If It's Football, It's Vital'

It's Miller time! (part 2)

Ishmael Miller could at least be on the bench for Saturday's game at QPR.

Miller completed 70 minutes for our reserves at Walsall last night - 10 minutes longer than was originally planned.

'I was supposed to play 60 but I felt alright so they said I could play an extra ten minutes and it went well, even though it was a heavy pitch,' he told the official site.

The striker though is taking no chances in his second comeback from injury this season.

'I don't want to put too much pressure on myself because I've done too much of that,' he said.

After five substitute appearances at the turn of the year Miller picked up an ankle injury - he had just returned after suffering knee ligament damage 14 months ago.

His verdict is very encouraging: 'The knee is fine, the ankle is fine and everything's fine, so I'm great'.

Look out QPR... it's Miller time!
