Koumas still a possibility

Koumas still a possibility

It would seem that the possibility of getting Jason Koumas back at the Albion is still very real.

Roberto Di Matteo has confirmed that talks are continuing over a loan deal to bring the Wigan Athletic midfielder back to the club.

With the injury and suspension list not getting any shorter, RDM definitely needs some cover and is keen to sign the Welshman.

Koumas has started only six games in the Premier League and Roberto Martinez has suggested he is willing to let the 30-year-old go out on loan.

After the 1-1 at Cardiff Di Matteo said: 'We are working away, but it's hard for us to bring the right players in.

'Regarding Koumas, he's a player we are interested in. We've been in touch, it's not a done deal yet, but we're working on it.'
