A 2-0 Albion win against Scunthorpe and defeats for Newcastle and Forest has put us on top of the pile.
Goals from Roman Bednar in the 13th minute, his 9th of the season, and from Zuiverloon just minutes from the end wrapped up a fantastic victory for West Brom.
Although the performance from Albion blew hot and cold during the 90 minutes, it was notable as both Noades and Slory made their first team appearances and Di Matteo got his tactics spot on.
Cliff Byrne was sent off for Scunthorpe after a foul on Meite on 87 minutes.
A fourth victory in four games for the Baggies and top spot as well... what a night!
