West Brom trial Canadian youngster
Haber plays for Vancouver Whitecaps, where he scored eight goals in 30 games before the end of the US season.
A lofty 6'3', Haber seems to be in the, former Chelsea star, Robert Huth mould as he can play as a striker and centre-half. This could be excellent cover for us at the back, as well as up front, as we look to keep the momentum going into the New year.
Prior to this the 20-year-old Haber had spells at Dutch side Groningen and unsuccessful trials at Leeds, Gillingham and Hartlepool before his return to Canada.
Apologies to our Canadian friends for using the USA flag but the Whitecaps are set to play in next season's MLS for the first time so I thought I could get away with it - Ed
