West Brom offload ineffective Valero

West Bromwich Albion have agreed a fee of £3.7million to sell midfielder Borja Valero back to Real Mallorca in January, according to The Daily Mirror

Valero, 24, has stated publicly that he has no intention of returning to West Brom, and a series of impressive performances in Spain mean that the option to make the move permanent is certain to happen.

Former Albion boss Tony Mowbray paid £4.7m to sign the former Real Madrid youth team player from Mallorca, in the summer of 2008.

Valero struggled to settle in the side and, once Albion were relegated, he made it clear that he wouldn't play in the Championship; he was loaned out at the start of the season.

Without a doubt the weakest, out of his depth footballer in the history of WBA,the record signing for our famous old club. I could honestly find a sunday morning player in a pair of wellingtons who could have more of an effect on a game than this waste of space. He is currently back at Majorca apparently if you believe the news reports on his way to being the next world player of the year. How could we ever compete in the prem last season with players like him and kim do-heon in midfield . He moved to WBA for the money and nothing else.
