Robson will keep star players

Robson has said that he will not allow any of the clubs more impressive stars to leave the club if we are relegated to the Championship this season.

First-team stars such as Curtis Davies, Tomasz Kuszczak, Jonathan Greening and Zoltan Gera could all attract bids from Premiership clubs should Albion fall out of the top league.

20-year-old centre back Curtis Davies has impressed this season with some mature displays since his move from Luton Town at the start of the season.

Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger has been impressed with Davies and attempted to test the water with Albion in January with a £3 million offer that the Baggies flatly refused.

Only time will tell whether Albion can put of Arsenal in the summer if they come in with an improved offer for the young star. Arsenal would be an attractive proposition to the youngster with them doing well in Europe and moving into a new stadium.

Tomasz Kuszczak has also been in fantastic form for Albion with some fantastic displays for the first team.

When asked about the interest in his stars Robson said, ''I don't fear losing them because they are on long-term contracts,

''Of course everyone has got a price but it'll have to be a big, big price for me to let the kids go because I am trying to build a better team.''

Fingers crossed the board, manager and the players are all pulling in the same direction come the end of the season.

LOL funny, I'd be gutted to see you guys go down...Spurs reserves have only just moved to Pompey and I would hate to see them have to move again ;o) Your right though, we have Gera, Davies and the keeper, that's all, I know they're no Andy O'Brien but they are our stars
