Official Travel Advice From Aston Villa

Cars travelling to Villa Park on Saturday 10th January 2009

We recommend that fans travelling by car from the North exit the M6 at Junction 7 and follow the signs for Birmingham A34. Having passed Alexandra Stadium on the left, all vehicles should stay in the nearside lane.

Leave the main carriageway just prior to the flyover at Perry Barr Greyhound Stadium (DO NOT go over the flyover). The road splits in to four lanes as you approach the traffic lights.

Stay in the left hand lane and you will see signs for matchday parking priced at £4. Villa Park is a ten minute walk from the car park, and using this car park will ensure you access the motorway quickly after the match.

West Bromwich Albion supporters using the A41 should turn in to to Island Rd and follow the 4040 to Perry Barr island where they can turn left and follow signs for the A453 (Aldridge Rd); or come down the Newton Rd towards the Scott Arms and turn right down the A34 Walsall Rd towards Perry Barr.

Best advice is don't go, save your money, stay home & stay warm, they'll stuff you.

I think you'll do ok. Just don't gift them the game in the 90th minute like we did at the KC!!
