Miller time over for the season

After clashing with David James at the death of Sunday`s game against Portsmouth, Miller was injured and had to be substituted. Initially suspecting a medial ligament injury, the prognosis was that Miller would be out for between 4-6 weeks. However the injury has proved to be much worse than first feared, and the cruciate ligament injury that Ish sustained has a normal recovery time of between 6 and 9 months, effectively ruling out any further participation this season.

After taking a few games to find his feet in the Prem, the raw 21 year old has started to look much livelier in recent weeks, and has bagged 3 goals in his last seven matches.

This injury gives both a chance to Luke Moore, who has never had a run in the side since signing from Aston Villa for £3m. Craig Beattie has also been recalled from his loan spell at Crystal Palace, where he scored 5 goals. However the Baggies will now be definitely looking to bolster the ranks at the top end of the pitch when the transfer window opens in January.

Both Jay Simpson and Carlos Vela of Arsenal have been strongly linked with loan moves, as well as Peguy Luyindula from Paris Saint Germain. I will do a full report on these but in the meantime, who do you think the Albion will bring in?

A big loss, hopefully the young man will come back. Good luck with the scrap to stay up.

I hope Moore steps up to the plate; he's definately got the special something that makes an exciting footballer - needs to look like he's interested though or the fans will never get behind him.

you will miss Miller........not a good time to lose anyone....never mind one of your strikers....

According you our local radio you lot have bid £4m for one of our (Leicester's) players, quite probably Matty Fryatt. If that kind of figure is true we'll be snapping your hands off in no time!
