Robson has backed Kamara after the midfielder was guilty of some glaring misses in the game against Blues at the weekend.
Kamara missed a clear opportunity from around 2 yards out with an open goal in front of him but he somehow managed to slice his shot wide of the post.
Robson has defended his dangerman in an interview today and said that Kamara could be one of the top marksmen in the league.
Robson said, 'Diomansy is very dangerous as a forward. He is finding his feet as far as playing regularly in The Premiership but he is only a young lad still learning the game,
'There is a fair amount of improvement in him still but if he works on his finishing, then he could be a real asset to this football club.
'He was really positive in his approach against Birmingham. He was looking really good on the attacking side - apart from his finishing.
'We need to get that right. I think he could turn out to be one of the most dangerous players at this level if he starts to put his chances away.'
Robson also praised Slovakian International Jan Kozak and his attitude since he has been at the club.
Kozak nearly grabbed his first goal in English football at the weekend only to see his shot cleared off the line.
Robson said, 'Kozak has a good football brain and he is a good passer of the ball. I am really pleased with him since he came to the club.'
