West Brom finally confirm Valero signing!!!

The Baggies have signed Real Mallorca's Borja Valero in a £4.7 million deal.

The Spanish playmaker will now be hoping for his home debut in the Hawthorns opener against Everton.

Tony Mowbray now has a wealth of options in Midfield and he is looking to add to those with the signing of Charlton's Chinese international Zheng Zhi.

The deal is expected to be forced through before the transfer window closes on 1 September.

This is a tremendous signing. The release clause in the contract that allowed the Baggies to sign Valero is a lot less than he is actually worth. If we were to sell Valero tomorrow we would probably get an extra £3-£4 million on top of what we have paid.

All eyes on him.

A nice name for the terraces - 'When the ball hits the back of the Albion net, it's Valero"
