McCourt to sign for Baggies

McCourt to sign for Baggies

The Londonderry Sentinel is reporting that the Baggies have agreed a deal, thought to be £150,000, with Derry City for their star player Paddy McCourt.

The talented winger is comfortable on both flanks and he has been described as the new George Best by fans at his hometown club.
However, whilst at Rochdale McCourt gained a reputation for being like George Best in the most unflattering of ways.

It is hoped that Tony Mowbray has unearthed another gem and that Paddy will quickly erase the memories of Zoltan Gera.

The deal for McCourt should go through in the next week subject to him passing a medical as it is believed personal terms have already been agreed.

Good luck Paddy and welcome to the Hawthorns.
