Roman Bednar signs for West Bromwich Albion

The Baggies completed the signing of Roman Bednar earlier this afternoon from Hearts.

Bednar becomes the fourth player to sign this season and will ensure that there is strong competition up front again next season regardless of whether Kevin Phillips stays on. The hitman played a vital role in ensuring that West Brom returned to the Premier League and scored 17 goals in 34 appearances.

The signing of Bednar to add to the signings of Kim, Moore and Danek will surely be welcomed by all West Brom fans.
