Do-heon Kim, Moore and Danek sign on!!!

As widely expected West Bromwich Albion have confirmed the signing of Luke Moore from local rivals, Aston Villa. Moore joined West Brom initially on loan in February and played ten games, seven from the bench. The fee is initially £3m but could rise to £3.5m depending on his and the club's performance. Moore has signed a three year contract with a further year in the club's favour.

Do-heon Kim will join Luke Moore at the Hawthorns after Tony Mowbray decided to take up the option to sign him permanently for £550k following a successful loan spell. The deal will go through on 1 June.

A 'hat-trick' of signings was completed when Michal Danek agreed to stay at the club on loan until 1 January 2009. The club will have the option to make the deal permanent in the January transfer window.

The three signings appear to take up a significant portion of Tony Mowbray's transfer budget and the fans will need convincing that the money has been well spent. Luke Moore in particular needs to put in some big performances to erase the memory of his sending off against Leicester City last season. Michal Danek has not yet been seen at first team level and Kim has had little game time so far but he will always be remembered for his last day goal against Queens Park Rangers when the Baggies won their first Championship for 88 years.

Excellent news. Can we have Slusarski on a free?

What do you make of the Moore signing? My mate is a Baggie and he was far from impressed.

I am afraid Slusarski will not be going anywhere on a free Auckland Owl

Moore has got to do a lot to impress most Albion fans. He did not really add anything to the squad last year but he showed flashes of skill that leads me to believe he has got a lot to give and I am sure TM will get the best from him.
