Baggies Transfer Rumours

Baggies Transfer Rumours

The Sun (ahem) say that West Brom are after Reading defender Ibrahima Sonko with Stoke also in the hunt. The 27-year-old Senegal player is said to be certain to leave following relegation. A fee of around £3million is mentioned.

Some reports suggest Zoltan Gera is on his way to Everton. A couple have linked him to Aston Villa, however the 29-year-old, whose contract runs out this summer, is not 100% certain of leaving West Brom just yet according to his agent. Sam Stapleton said: 'It's not down to money at all, it's down to ambition and longevity of playing in the Premier League. We're looking to make a decision before the end of the week.' Sooner the better I would have thought!

The Express & Star have an article today saying that Martin Albrechtsen is also set to decide whether to stay at West Brom or move on. They quote his agent, Michael Johansen who said: "There are conversations still going on with West Bromwich Albion and I can`t comment too much more than that. Martin is on vacation at the moment but hopefully something will be sorted soon. Martin would like it to happen in the next two weeks.' Adding, 'There are other clubs interested pretty much everywhere, including other clubs in England.'

And that, at the moment, is all the transfer gossip I can find.
