As One West Brom Door Closes…

The injury to Filipe Teixeira that has ruled the player out of the remainder of this season may give a first team opportunity to Do-Heon Kim boss Tony Mowbray has admitted.

Teixeira has suffered a cruciate ligament injury that will see the Portuguese midfielder ruled out with the South Korean ready to step into the midfield position against Crystal Palace this evening.

Speaking to the official West Brom website Mowbray said:

“Kim will get more of an opportunity now Filipe is injured. I'm just waiting for the right time because Kim is very, very exciting in training. He's a wonderful footballer who I want to give time on the pitch.

“I've got every faith he will come through the test ahead of him when he is asked to play.”
